    Shower Install

Does anyone know whatit should cost to have a shower installed?I have the toggle switch marked shower but the original owner didnt get the options. Would be nice to be able to throw a little warm water down the wet suit on those chilly Wisc summer days.

Just curious what I should expect to pay for the install.

i don't know about at a dealer but here's a link to a DIY setup. He says you could do it for less than $75

Why do you have to pick up the cold water from the intake?

I guess he just wanted the ability to have both cold, hot or a mix of the two. Looks like a clean and easy setup.

Except on the MP 340's there is a knock sensor in place of where he is pulling the hot water from the block.

I think you might be able to tap into the hot water supply on the bottom of the exhaust manifold. It's been discussed somewhere here on the forum before because I thought about doing it as well but decided that I really didn't need a shower.

                FacePlant,
I have a 2005 22V, MP340, on mine the knock sensor is on the right side, just a plug on the left side that I tapped into.

Only on 07 and later.......the 06 and newer MP's only have one knock, the other side is just a pipe plug.

I'm sure there are a few peeps on here with 07 and newer MP's that could take a pic and write a description of where the heater draws from.
