Hello, has been awhile since I posted. Have a 2011 RZ4. Last several weekends out it has periodic issue with engine. Without any issue noted on guages, will only throttle to 5 or 6 miles an hour. After it runs for a little and we turn off/on a couple of times will then run perfectly for long periods. Can reoccur later in day as well. A few things to note:
- while this issue is going in ( and can go on for 5+ minutes) the Tige screen flickers. When issue stops the Tige screen comes on as normal too. Always flickers though while issue occurs and never when it doesn’t.
- has also happened while speedset is on.
- accessory battery is good but borderline.
- one other funky thing. This only happened once but after turning battery switch off a bit later we noticed one of the tower lights went on ( other one is not working right now). Switch was double checked. Was off. We put it back on and switched off lights and then turned off switch and as far as we know never happened again. Very strange though.
Thinking may be a short somewhere. Any ideas from you all on what the issue could be and how to track it down would be much appreciated.
