2016-2018 Tige R20 or Malibu 20 VTX

Looking to buy used. Have narrowed it down to these two. Which is better for slalom and which has better reliability?

if you're into slalom as a primary activity, if the vtx has the diamond cut hull I'd lean that route. both will be great in terms of reliability.
check out fit/finish closely. lots of stories out there on 'bu's quality/fit/finish being a little subpar for the coin you are spending.

When it comes to slalom, they would be fairly close. Maybe a slight advantage to the VTX. Though hands down a 2020 VTX as they changed the design of the hull to that similar of the Response.

In terms of reliability, they should be fairly close. It would boil down to dealer support.
