    Actuators

So I got new hardware mounting kit for 2018 and installed it myself with directions from Tige. The weirdest thing now happened that has me perplexed. My taps are reversed. 1-fully engaged 10-fully retracted. Any clue why this did this? Thanks!

This is correct. 1 is full plate deployment.

Well that makes me feel like an idiot but I’m positive they had worked in the opposite way before. I even installed an new actuator and had to reverse the wires to get one of them to work correctly. Thanks!

On the Z1/R21, Z3/R23, RZR/R20 there is one side that the wires are flipped. Meaning white to black and black to white. It was something that crossed over from the AVX system. And remember, when you select surf right, the left plate goes down.
        Oh Yeah!

Yeah one side is wired backwards. Found that out when I had actuator go bad.

It helps if you think of the TAPS number as "size of wake". 1 = fully deployed = raise the stern out of the water = smallest wake. 10 = fully retracted = stern deep in the water = largest wake.

To be clear, my comment is directed at eeethell. (For some reason links like "quote" and "edit" aren't working so I couldn't go back and make this obvious in the original post.)
