Looking at buying a lightly used 2018 R21 or and even more lightly used 2019 R20. I would love to have the extra space of the R21 but my garage is only 23’ 1” long. I know the 20 will fit but am not sure about the 21. I see dimensions on the website, however none with trailer tongue folded and swim platform removed. Also any other opinions to help me sway towards one boat or another would be helpful. My primary usage will be Surfing and worry about the R20 not putting out as big of a wake. Thanks!

Is the r21 at a dealer? Have then bring it to your house to see if it fits!!!!!!

last boat was a '12 22ve. believe it was 22ft even. garages in boise and green bay were both 23ft6inch. 22ve fit with no issues if I took the platform off and swing tongue. could still walk around front of boat with garage door closed. backed up until wakeplate hit the wall.
I would not hesitate to explore an r21 with a 23ft garage. I don't know how far back the taps3 plates hang off but I can't imagine the r21 is longer than 23ft with swing and platform off.2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17

It seems to me that these models will fit perfectly in your garage. If we were talking about R22, then it would be worth looking at the bigger sizes. Some details still depend on which gate will be installed in the garage. I've even seen garages where the gates open inwards. Of course, this is a waste of space.
When I was making the gates to my garage, I put up a good iron gate. I ordered the installation from https://everlastgates.com/. Good specialists work in this company, so the work was completed quickly.
