    E-SeriesTower bolt info needed!

Hay guys, need some help from you E series tower owners.

I have a fellow Tige owners 05 22i here for stereo upgrade. He's getting a 3-Some and Syn6 for the tower and a Syn Micro for the cabin and WS-420 to tie it all together Well anyway, it has some tower bolt issues. One of the bolts at the hinge over the windshield is rung off and the other is just gone So, what I need is for someone that can give me the thread pitch, size, and length from the shoulder to the end of the threads so I can round him up a couple. Tige has them with the crank handles, but they must be gold-plated as they are $120 per side All we really need is a SS allen head bolt. I think they are 3/8 x 16NC but want to be sure before I chase the threads on the threaded insert that these bolts go into.

    Thanks

Moving forward, I had to solve this myself as I was to a point of needed to set the tower up and mount some speakers.

For future reference. The bolts that clamp the tower joints are: 1.75" in length (2" work but need to be shortened) x 3/8" x 16 NCT. The insert that this bolt threads into (the insert is thread into the aluminum tower) has external threads of 5/8" x 18 NFT. If the insert ever threads out, I recommend a dab of red permanent Loc-Tite on it and a dab of Anti-Seize on all the other service bolts (the ones that need to be removed to lower tower.
