Covers Question

Noob owner here and have a question about storage. Sadly I can't fit my boat in my garage, so I have to store it outside. It came with both a snap cover and a full/"storage" cover. My question is do you (/would you) all use both covers or just the storage cover when storing outside?

So far I have been trying to dry out the boat fully (which is typically at least a full day even in dry Colorado). Then I'll put both covers on for storage.
Do you all dry your boats before storage or just cover them damp? I'm mainly referring to over the summer when I'm going to be using it almost every week.
The storage cover has a couple of vents, but I doubt those do much good with the snap cover on underneath.

Depends on how much shade vs. sun the boat gets while sitting. Probably use one or the other, but not both, if you’re boating every week. In AZ we don’t have drying issues.
