Rear Differential ID GM

General Motors put a tag on the rear differential that shoud have it printed the gear ratio and production data of the rear end. If it is not there you can call the dealer with your VIN and they can tell you.

Find a CARQUEST AUTO PARTS Store and pick up these two items if you have a 5.3 I am sure that the 1998-2003 is the same part number there line code is HTR Part number is 77283. I put this sever duty fan clutch on and I was blown away at how much air it moves. The negative to this is the horse power required to run this fan is 5 more HP than the stock clutch. They also make a Multi Pass sever duty trans cooler if you want that part number I can get it for you. It is twice the size of the OE and 85% more efficient do to the fact it is a multi pass. You need to be carfull of the counterman if it is in a blue and silver box it is the wrong one it should be in a black and gold box and says multi pass cooler.
