What is this a picture of?

Probably a really dumb question. But I found this hose under my motor crawling around. I guess i am not familiar with what it is. I figure it should not be connected to anything? I am hoping it is an oil drain?

Go to the depot and by a female end a hose barb. Then connect to your extractor.
