How to tighten alpha z tower

My alpha z tower on 2009 tige squeaks in rough water. Seems to need tightening. How do I do that?

My Alpha Z tower would squeak also. There should be a knob/lever on each side of the tower that is used to tighten or loosen the tower. It is the same knob/lever that you would loosen and remove to fold the tower. You will want to make sure that is tight. In addition to that I put a thin film of grease between the two contact points of the tower. I have heard some people also put a real thin piece of rubber between these two points as well. Both options seem to work.

Notorious Alpha Z issue. Loaded with boards in rough water the tower just sounds darn right scary sometimes. The pins are garbage too. The outside part that the handle is on strips very easily and at the end of the season last year I had one snap inside the tower. I've contemplated through bolting the whole thing as I never have to drop my tower.
