Picked the boat up from the Dealer!

Yesterday was a great day. Took my son to flag football and he scored a TD. Then drove 90 minutes to pick up the boat and the dealer fumbled. It stayed with the dealer in their cold storage this year so that they could have the warranty stuff completed before May 1st. They did a great job fixing the warranty stuff and they got me a 2010 swim platform which is light-years ahead of the 08 platform.
The question I have for everyone - When your dealer does work on your boat if it is fiberglass work or what ever do you have to clean the boat of fiberglass residue or get leaves and other dirt out?
So am I asking too much to have the boat returned to me as I gave them the boat?
"You're rather attractive for a beautiful girl with a great body."

I've had to clean the trailer and the haze over the boat but it only took about 10 minutes to get that done.

But, I don't have this problem anymore. That is because I don't have a dealer near enough to me that I can take the boat to.

Not too much to ask for in my opinion.

I think they should return it cleaned.
IF I was a dealer why would I give it back dirty....What has happened in pride in workproduct to this country?

Ditto on dealer location 200 miles for Indiana one.

Not sure of one in Wisconsin near Wausau, Wi. Wherever they are the boat should be clean. Could be worse. Mine ex dealers is charging me $120 bucks for a gelcoat fix they were going to do for nothing because of bad install on tower.

Booms where is the Dealer in your neck of the woods.

Reeds no longer sells Tige or any other wake/ski boats.

Man that's a pet peeve of mine. I haven't had this happen to me in several years but I hear of this all too often.

Did you mention anything to the dealer about this? There is no excuse for it. All it takes is a few minutes of running the shop vac.

Yup. I agree. The boat should come back to you clean.

It is funny how something that small sours your experience. We take a lot of pride in general in our expensive machines and expect them to be back in the same shape we left them.

                Any dealers out there...listen up.
                Be excellent to one another.

Never had that happen at my dealer, they are first rate! They also know that my boat is stored indoors and as such, they keep it inside the entire time they have it too.

I picked my boat up last time at the dealer and it was cleaner then when I dropped it off. I had it in storage for a month w/o cover anticpating using it so it got pretty dusty and it looked like my dealer did a full detail on it for me. Thanks again Texas Tige! it's the small things that count and that is why I bought a Tige and where I did.
