Speedo Transducer

Have the boat in the shop because I couldn't find the problem with the speedo, the paddle wheel turns freely. Does anyone out there in Tige world have an idea what a tranducer will cost me if it turns out to be the problem. Thx

No Idea on the cost but be sure to let us know what they find the problem to be

I had this problem on my boat, if I remember right they wanted something like $500-800 to fix it. I said no thanks and just guess my speed using my rpm's.

EDIT* It was the second time i've had this problem, that was the reason for passing.

Turns out thats it's not the transducer, but the gauge. Does anyone out there know if they can be rebuilt/ reapired or am I looking at replacing the gauge, and what that might cost? Thks

Your 06 should have a Faria gauge package. If i'm not mistaken, they have like a life-time, or maybe at least, a 10 year warranty. Send it in and they will repair/replace for a flat fee. Again, if I remember right.
