I spent saturday on lake powell and as we were driving around the areas where we usually camp, I noted that the lake was probably down 15 feet from where it was two years ago. I was wondering how much the lake is projected to raise this year?

Does anyone understand the management of the Colorado River basin? I would like to know why they have been impounding more water lately in Powell, but continue to let Mead drop about 20' every year.
Glad for you Powell guys, but I just get annoyed at having to watch for new underwater obstacles every week on Mead.
