Ticking
We have had problms with spark plug waires causing a sound like that and also in one instance a bad alternator. We had loose spark plug wires that were causing an arc that somehow made noise in the stereo, knew it was tied to the engine because it changed with RPM. The alternator was harder to find but finally figured it out by popping the belt off and running the einge briefly. The noise went away so we replaced the alternator. When do you hear the sound, what else is going on, what equipment did you remove,/replace while you did the job?
We need more clues...."Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted....the problem is I don't know which half."
