I'm having trouble getting my boat to plane out.

Do you think I need to take the prop pitch down an inch or 2 ???

All you need is little more ballast up front.

You should have saved the money on the several other sandwiches that are in the bow waiting to be eaten and bought a wee larger engine instead.

How many skiers can you pull with that thing?

Jeffe, you made my heart sink for a minute. I see the kids are already adding up. Don't let them waste that food you worked hard to buy. .

Speaking of not getting boats to plane. I drove my buddies 2010 rz2 a couple weeks ago. We had it fully loaded with ballast(biggest option from the factory) and 5 people in the boat. Went to pull him out of the water with the taps at 8 and the boat would not plane. I had to put the taps down to about 4 to get it to plane.

Does anyone else have to do this with their 2010 with full ballast?

Sounds to me like it is time for a prop change to a 1235 or dump some of the ballast. That ballast system if it is the one I think it is was designed for wake surfing also do it may be two much ballast for boarding.
