QUESTION --- Need help finding a dashboard part

Greetings all, I'm a new member to the site and a new Tige owner as of last weekend. Just bought a nice 1996 2002 inboard in well looked after condition.

Need some guidance from the forum.

The previous onwer had a satellite radio cradle installed and he cut through the aluminum piece on the right side of the wheel to get the wires through. I've since removed the cradle but now have some really big holes I need to cover. Pic attached. The left hole is for the cradle, the right hole is where the TAPS switch goes.

Can anyone recommend where I might be able to find this part or some similar part i can install in this space? Many thanks.

Oh yeah, threw in a pic of the boat as i figured someone would ask me to post it up.

Welcome to the site! The boat and trailer look in incredible shape! You did the right thing and post up a picture.

I would think you will have to make a new piece out of plastic or metal to replace that piece you have.
The taps switch is now in the throttle handle. You should be able to upgrade and get it off the dash all together.

Most good stereo installation shops will carry plastic sheets like this that you can mold, cut, drill etc.

If you can't trace and cut that out yourself a machine shop will do it for you. I can't imagine it would cost too too much.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I'd say just make a new one, shouldn't take long at all.

I 2nd the sheet of ABS plastic. 1/8x12x12 will run >$10 and is easily cut with a scroll saw.
