What do you guys think about a 7.3L with 245K miles? These are highway miles... how much life can one of these engines really have??

I just sold mine just like that with more options and 169k miles for 7400. I Think his price is high. granted mine was a 2000, but still.

These engines with proper maintenance can run over 1 million miles. I have seen it done on many of them.

Would I buy that truck, yes, would I like it Yes, they are amazing, but I wouldn't pay that price. Right now it's a buyers market, not a sellers market.

I think it depends on the area that you live in. That '02 7.3 is easily a $12k-$15k truck here in Colorado, use a zip code of 80202 if you don't believe me.

Here are a couple of my old rigs, the Mega cab is by far the best rig. I have had the duramax and the power stroke, great trucks, but this one is the whole package for me.

This was a great family ride, but the power just wasn't there and it was worked over a bit. We really don't want to talk gas mileage on this one.

This truck was a great rig, it didn't have the leg room for the kids that the Mega does. But it sure did protect me when I was t-boned at 60+

My dad always said "Stupid Hurts". He's yet to be proven wrong, but for some reason I keep trying.
