Ive had this complaint from quite a few Hemi truck guys, my 5.9l tows fine at all speeds, I think the Hemi doesnt have the torque curve at the right rpm, the tranny shift is dictated by engine torque, which is monitored by map readings or mass air flow dropping at a specified rpm , than ecm downshifts to get optimun power.

I wish we used a more complex shift stratagey on gassers but no here is a stock shift table. shifts are from TPS vs MPH. Lock up is off of Load% by mph

It is a 2003 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with the hemi and 5 speed Auto.

This truck did not come with 33's from the factory. If you want to correct your shift issue and get your REVS per Mile corrected in you ABS module with will correct your speedo and your **** stratagy!

It came with the factory 20" flower wheels with 275/60R20 goodyears which measure out to 33"

However, where can I get the computer reset to my tire size?

sorry I thought I read you said a 2500... That the 275/60r20 on the ractory 20x9 wheel measures 33.6 inchs.. What tires on there now?

Nitto terra grappler 305/70/17, they should measure to 34" at full tread. Forgot to mention, I do have the 3.92 gears.

Just put a small lift and new wheels/tires on the truck - had to show everyone! Truck used to look like a car - but I think I fixed that problem. Used an Add-A-Leaf in the back, which should help with towing. We will test it out this weekend.

dan, i was so close to doing a Ford 1 ton dually this time. with 24's 10 lugs and adapters. All black with black wheels and big spike lug covers. It was either that or I was also really close to doing a bagged dually that laid frame with 24 or 26's!. But when the new ones came out, i didnt like the fenders. They have grown on me now. But it is so much in building these trucks, i think i will keep it for a while. I love the way the truck turned out.

Nobody, not sure what will happen with the RZ2 yet.

Tall, wait till you see the Z3 wrap and entire package.
