    Wetsounds Stereo

I finally finished my new sound system and I think I have the loudest direct drive in Colorado I did a pro 485 and a pair of pro 60's on the tower(with leds) powered by a syn 6 . 6 xs-650's interior speakers a XS-12 and a 10" FA Kicker sub. 2 pairs of xs-650's and the XS-12 are powered by a syn 6 and the 10" sub and 1 pair of xs-650's are powered by the stock 400 watt clarion amp. I just got back from Havasu and had a great time with the new system.

You can see that I lost almost all my storage space due to the syn 6's and the sealed enclosure for the xs-12

I would like to thank Ryan the owner of Liquid Powersports in northern Colorado for helping me out with everything!!

Nice install! Your boat has to rock! Can't wait to hear it! You ready for the Meet N Greet this year?

      Great looking setup.
Storage space is over rated when it comes to stereo needs.

Nice setup, I bet you'll be able to hear that boat anywhere on Horsetooth. You might be in the running for the loudest boat, but I don't think we'll let you have that title without a showdown. There's a stereo contest at the Tige regatta every year....

I noticed the liquid power sports stickers on the amp, did they do a good job on the install? I think those guys had a booth at the boat show. I should probably ask if that's your company...?

Awesome stereo but definitely not the loudest Michael. The kid that bought your old boat has the loudest I have ever heard.

I heard that guy went nuts with my 24VE. I also heard he left the drain plug out a couple years ago and almost sunk the boat while it was sitting on Horse-tooth, or so I was told... Thankfully it didn't go under.

I think my pink and green RZ4 that I just sold had the biggest stereo in Colorado. After I installed the golf cart batteries the tower speakers actually hurt your ears if you were surfing. I'm not going that big again, total overkill!

My new boat should be pretty loud as well, so I'd be happy to give H20 a run for the Colorado title! I'm focused on making the boat wrap louder than any stereo anyhow

He was just claiming loudest direct drive. Not loudest boat.

No to brag or anything but I DID win the Tige Stereo Comp two years ago. I wasnt around last year to defend my belt. But its not a DD.

Congrats on the system, VERY NICE

True... He probably can take the title for a DD, I forgot he said that. I can't think of any other DD boats that I've seen or heard in Colorado with a big system.

So how many miles can we hear you coming from so we can get our ear plugs in or head in another direction.

Medically high output systems will cause my cluster headache to erupt. I do carry ear plugs in the boat just in case and will put in when needed. If my kids crank our system I do the same 1thing. I just avoid when I can.

Despite my noise concerns I think your system will definately rock.

It looks great on the tower.

Does you tower fold? I am just wondering how many peeps are need to raise it back up again or lower it.

                        Anyway enjoy

Sorry Off Subject: Michael, when did you get a new Malibu and why? The 2010 Tige's with the surf package look off the hook. Just curious, you taking your new toy to Powell this year?

Sup dude, the new boat will be in Powell hopefully next to yours. I need to get a Walker board...

In regards to the Bu, it was totally unexpected. Every time we drive over to Tommy's it feels weird. We went to the boat show and looked at the Tige's, MC's and SAN's. We really wanted a BB motor and a new style rack. My Dad kept telling us to look at the Bu's, it was like they gave him free boat show tickets or something. Personally we've always disliked Bu's because of the carpet every where, it's as though they wanted their boats to look like the Mutts Cuts van in dumb and dumber. To be nice to my dad we checked out the Bu's. We jumped in one and it had snap out carpet and a fiber glass floor - odd... From that point on it was really awkward, we were literally fighting to still dislike them. At the end of the day, we lost the fight. We decided not to buy the 247, since it was due for a face lift in a couple years, so we ended out buying a 23 LSV with the 8.1L BB.

That's how we ended up with a Bu. It's over at Tommy's getting all decked out right now. We're just finishing up our boat wrap design, it should be as polarizing as the last one.

The new Tige's are awesome and we love Bill, Donna, Cory and Tony Fussell, so this was really tough for us. In the 11th hour I sent Tony Fussel an email saying how we felt really awkward about potentially buying a Malibu and I wanted to talk with him about doing a one off special edition RZ4, it was something we had discussed at the boat show. I never got a response from him, maybe he didn't get my email, but I took it as though it wouldn't work out. For now we've moved on, but Tony knows what motor I'm really waiting for and the other things we want. I'm sure we'll have another Tige someday.

Cool, I can't wait to see it. Let's keep the neon pink to a minimum on this wrap I'm definitely going to Powell this year. Call up Mike Walker with Walker boards and have him design a board like the boat wrap.
