With boating season getting close here in Kentucky, I want to extend an open invitation to any of my fellow tigeowners. If you are in western Kentucky for any reason and want to take a ride on Kentucky Lake or Lake Barkley just give me a shout. I am always looking for excuses to hit the lakes.

I might head down that way with my 20V for a long weekend out of Chicago.
Lake Barkely and Kentucky lake are both lakes I have been on. I like Lake Barkely a little better. Both lakes are nice but a both soft bottom working lakes so the water is murky. My wife is spoiled with crystal clear water but for a long weekend Barkely fits the bill. I can't remember how far it is but I used to make most of that ride in my College days where once a month I had to head to Chicago for Marine Reserve Duty. Those where the days where I totaled my 69 Ford Galaxy and had to use my Street bike to make the commute 12 months a year.

AJ - Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley are great lakes! My family and I go out there to visit relatives and sail Kentucky Lake!
If I make it out there this summer, I'll give you a ring! Would love to cruise in a Tigé on those lakes!
Cheers,

Their are cabins and houseboats. http://www.eddycreek.com/ is a great place for cabins on Lake Barkely. http://www.greenturtlebay.com/ is a good place for houseboats. Their are others but, these are the ones I have dealt with. Check out http://www.kentuckylake.com/boating/rentals.shtml
