IS THIS TRUE?..I'm told that TIGE swival board racks are 1600 from dealer for a set..???? I have xtra set for sale of my old boat.. if anyone interested!!
That sounds about right for the new Alpha Z swivel racks, but not the old Wake Design design found on the Tige "E" series tower.

for that price they should auto swival w/ the push of a button and hand you a beer when your done w/ your ride
That's why I bought the "static" racks instead of the swivels. My wife really liked the swivel racks (which we first enountered on Nautique boats) but not for that price.
I understand "account control", but I'll openly state that one huge disadvantage to these weird tower designs is that you can't select from the multitude of waketower options that mount to round tubing. Instead, you're stuck with whatever options that one manufacturer offers - and stuck without those they don't.
For example, I have a really nice Ciba Extreme mirror on my existing boat. It has a really nice mounting arm from a completely different company. That mounting arm fits perfectly to my waketower which is from a THIRD company. Everything is compatible; mix and match to suit your personal preferences. But now, with my new 24Ve, I don't have any easy way to mount my Ciba Extreme mirror to my Alpha Z tower. I'm sorry, but windshield mounts just are not as nice as tower mounts. Yet that choice isn't available to me and probably never will be.
