how much water is in your boat

Just wondering how much water you get in your boat after a few hours at the lake? I have an 03 21IR and it gets to about the top of the center plug, is that a concern? Just wondering.

dom, that bilge should be dry. the only water in there should be coming from your swimmers, gear or your driving habbits. other than that it should be dry. didn't you just have a propshaft replaced last winter? if so, the pss seal (shaft seal) is probably not adjusted correctly or it is damaged. do you have a heater or shower in the boat? sometimes the heater core will crack and leak or the shower nozzle could be open and leaking into the bilge. chased that problem for a month a few years back. who would of thought, i resealed every thru-hull fitting on that boat twice and it turns out to be a shower that was running

I just left my 22V in the lake for 2 days and did about eight hours of boarding runs...I was surprised that it didn't have any water at all in the bilge. My last boat was in a constant state of sinking because of the leaky gland seal. If you're getting water in your Tige, there's something that can be fixed.

no i didn't have a prop shaft replaced. Looks LIke I need to start looking at what is leaking. It might be my ballast system. I'll look into it tomorrow.

            water

I have noticed on my 04 20i, as soon as i drop it in the water, I can see water coming in at the middle drain plug under the engine. While on the lake, the bilge pump comes on every 2 or 3 hours. Is there suppose to be any water at all coming through there however slow it may be?? I would assume not!

i went out yesterday and there was virtually no water. I also talked to my friend who was driving and he told me he dipped the nose to soak the girls up front, so that explains where it's coming from. Thanks for the info.
