I don't buy the 80's look, either. I think the wakesetters are pretty sharp. I thought the graphics were really sharp until Tige came out with the freeride graphics. I hate the fact that they keep tinkering with their towers and as I have said before on other threads, their now tower in '10 has more of an IKEA look than an '80s look.

Don't get me wrong...I loved the Bu...my wife didn't. My motto is "happy wife...happy life."

The latest reason that they changed their tower is because Metcraft who built their towers is out of business and now they are building them in house.

yeah, I heard that. The weird thing is that they were ahead of the curve on the new tower designs with Tige and Centurion and now CC just catching up over the last couple of years but now are the first to start to get away from it. I guess there is merit in continuing to be ahead of the curve, but I just think they swung and missed on this one is all.

It's all good...there's something I like about all the wake boats out there - not really any bad ones IMHO. The '10 Bu tower has not grown on me either.

Malibu is all about being ahead of the curve. Every year they have a new feature thats the latest and greatest. But some dont turn out to stand the test of time. ex. Drive by Wire
