I have a homemade set very similar to the rock tamers. With some metal stock and a welder, they can be built very easily. A friend lost his windsheild on his boat the other summer because of a rock thrown up from the back tire.
If I am towing a $50,000 boat, they will be on to protect my investment. Better yet, an enclosed trailer would best, lol.
You want the ultimate protection. Try www.rockgard.com Never get a chip ANYWHERE on your boat & trailer. I had one on my Avalanche Centurion now i am getting one for my 09' RZ2.

Looks pretty neat...but they are only in canada...you think they ship to US and how much does one cost.
Here are some pics of my home made mud flaps. I did not make them though. A friend of mine made these for a dodge pick up. I had a local fab shop add the gusset braces, riser and locking bolt to hold them still and work for my ford.
