In July 2008 i purchased an 07 rz2 from Capital Watersports in Sacramento, CA. I immediatly started having trouble with this boat. The interior started coming apart at the seams from day 1. Tige calls this material soft and supple, i call it thin and cheap!!! I have been trying to get seat covers that were supposedly ordered from day 1 as well as last summer, 2009. when I called to find out the status in August 09 the seats were 12-14 weeks out. When I called back to see in December 09 they were still 12-14 weeks out. I was told by Tige that due to current economic conditions they had laid a bunch of people off so they were short handed. Really not my problem. I paid Tige good money for this boat...still nothing and my warranty is up on labor. I have had the Taps ram replaced 3 times, and I seldom use it. The digital readout has been replaced once. The seat backs up front kept breaking 9 A known design flaw) got those replaced but was told Tige was not going to warranty them any more. Great... maybe build a quality boat?? My stitching is coming apart everywhere. They looked a pics and said "wear and tear"...Really? Cause I am 45 years old, its garaged and maintained like no other, cleaned with the appropriate cleaners and has very few hours. Should seats start coming apart at 10 hours??? I also have 2 friends the own the same boats and similar problems with no resolve from Tige!!! and don't let me get started on that POS bimini top that takes 3 people to put up. Its falling apart too!! I have 147 hrs on my boat now. Does anyone know how to get through to these people without a lawsuit?? Why cant they be focused on customer service and not profit margins. I was talked out of buying a Master Craft at the boat show. Tige tells tales of how different they are and how superior their interiors and exteriors are. SHOW ME DON'T TELL ME!!!

Have you worked directly with Tige on your issues or are you doing everything through capital watersports?Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

I'm having the same issues with our seats. One of the many covers came in a few weeks ago. The rest are intergalactic-ly backordered. Frustrating. This isn't the first Tige we have owned but already has had more problems than the other two combined.
Still love the boat though. They will make it right. Just need to be patient with the seat skins.Bad decisions make good stories.

If CWS advised Tige within the first year of ownership, Tige should be picking up the cost of material and labor. It's all about when you/dealer brought this issue up to Tige.
