This may sound crazy, but I was wondering if anybody knows if there is someway I could remove my v2300 from the trailer to do some maintance on the trailer, I live in MT. and unfortunatly everything is still froze. Is there somthing i could build to support the boat, or buy? any help would be appreciated.

I have taken a boat off the trailer many times using the roof trusses of a metal building (the big beams) and a couple of heavy duty come alongs. Sounds crazy but in reality you are only lifting about 3000lbs on each end which is not that big of a deal. Then just set it on some foam blocks. Just make sure to lift it close to the walls of the building for maximum strength.Last edited by Thomas Hohl; 03-11-2010, 03:47 AM.Biggest lake addict on the planet

You can also wrap some 4X6 in towels where they make contact with the boat to set it on. Just look at the boat hull and see what you can do to get somthing that will be stable for it to set on. Lift if from the D-hook in the nose and the two D-Hooks at the back of the boat. Use big straps and put towels between the straps and the boat at the contact points.www.automarinecare.com CWB, ACME, FlyHigh, Merc Marine, PCM, Marine-power, WETSOUNDS, HSE Volume Controls, Kicker, Sony, Samson Sports, and many other marine parts or accessory's.
