Pretty sure they do. I know they have been heavily advertising on boattest.com for a while. In fact, boattest posted some articles claiming that they ran tests showing the Royal Purple significantly lowered the fuel consumption and noise levels from engines. Seemed pretty amazing, but I don't know how much the advertising dollars may have influenced the "testing".
And, after looking at their website, while they promote it's use in marine applications, it looks to me that it is their standard motor oil, not a marine-specific blend. http://www.royalpurple.com/motor-oil-m.html
I was thinking the same. How long will you run until you change it?
Why is it that you think you can run longer on this brand of oil?
I have seen no SAE data to back up the extension of there oil change , it has no different suspension of contaminants than any other good quality oil.
I only recommend engine manufacturers time schedule for oil changes , in this case GM , their staff has a lot more testing hours on their engines than any one oil company.

I agree. Any idea what an new engine costs? It's not pretty and oil is CHEAP!
