Ok, the E series tower, that's what I was looking for.

Just got an e-mail from my dealer that my seat skin is in. Now hopefully it is the right color's.
I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

As far as Tige interiors I personally believe 09 is when the real improvements started.
2006 was better than the previous years, then 2007/8, and then 2009. However, 2010 is off the hook.....

OK, those cracks need to be fixed. I have access to a Gel-Coat guy that is mobile and will come to you for the repairs. He is amazing at Gel-Coat repairs. He comes out of Visalia CA. He just did some Gel-Coat repairs on cracks like that on a nose of an RZ4 for me. Not my boat but a Friends. When he cut into the gel coat to get to the fiberglass it started to break out worse. Their was a bunch of air pockets in the nose. He had to redo the whole drives side nose to correct the issue. It took him just shy of 5 hours to get it corrected. All we can figure is that the air pockets in the nose were so abundant because that is a hard area to roll out during the manufacturing process. I took pictures of it and it was worse than just the cracking. The pics I have actually show the air voids between the Gel-Coat and Fiberglass. This type of repair for a good gel guy to do is around $500 - $1000.00. Minus materials. And when it is air pockets you don't know how far they will go. You could end up redoing a much larger section than what is visible. You never know until you cut into it.

This should be repaired by Tige

The problem is that the gelcoat warranty is only for one year on your boat. So, unfortunately, it's out of warranty.

I took exceptional care of my pro air nautique that I bought new in 2001, by 2003 when I sold it the interior was becomeing sun burnt and seams were starting to go most of my customers interiors were worst.
I bought a 2004 20i for our ski team took very little care of interior never garage kept and in the sun all the time and the interior just got bad this year with 1000hrs of use.
I cant figure out what happens, I have customers with same boats same area and years and one will look like it just left the show room and another will be comeing apart, and eqivalent hrs. of use.

I think a lot of if is the cleaners you use. I am not a big fan of the seat saver or seat soap from Babes. I use ducky to clean my seats every time we pull out of the lake. It is general practice. And no one gets on the boat after being in the lake unless they dry on on the swim deck with a towel. Water is hard on the seats. Think about your skin when you are in water all the time what happens. It gets all wrinkly and messed up then it drys and you have to use a ton of lotion. If it is real bad in some cases the next step in your skin starts to peel.

Just my thought water is very hard on seat and material the same way. We have made it a rule that you have to dry off before getting into the boat. A little water does not hurt but I have been on some boats where people jump out of the water and walk right on the boat with all that water running into the seats and material of the seats.

                  Vinyl Issue With 2007 RZ2

I have a 2007 RZ2 with similar issues but to a lesser extent. The rear bench seat (especially the starboard side), and then also the observer seat have the seams splitting. The boat is well protected summer and winter, and we do a decent job keeping the seats clean with mild soapy water then applying protectant. When boating we try to keep towels on the seats. We are pursuing Tige now for some replacement skins before the boat falls out of warranty. I think overall build quality on this boat is great, even better than the Nautique I had for 14 years before. The vinyl feels great but maybe is a little too thin and just doesn't seem to hold up in some of the high stress areas.

That is my biggest pet peeve! Kinda want to smack them and be like "think you idiot! would you come out of the pool and walk into your house and sit on the couch?"
I know its a boat but for the people who I tell that to they think I'm just being anal, they just don't understand! haha

I personally don't sweat the water. Most everyone towels off before they get in the boat except our dog.
I have a really hard time accepting the theory that water causes these ripping and tearing issues on the 06+ Tiges. Either it is harsh cleaners or really fat people with small feet causing problems.

Thanks for selling me a bunch of that stuff

I never liked the Babe's cleaner, but I love the seat saver.
                        Be excellent to one another.

No offense to dogs at all but dogs and Tige's seats probably are not a good mix at all. My buddy use to let his lab in his boat until the seats started getting little poked holes everywhere. I cant imagine what happens when you guys let your dogs into your boats.

Never really had a problem with people's feet or their weights but I did have a friend who had these hideous toe nails. We nicknamed him Eagle Claw! lol dude could probably scoop a fish right out of the water with those things! Of course I made him cut those babies before he got back into my boat! True Story

My 20V has barely seen any use due to health issues last season but I was surprised to see in this thread that seams and cracking is happening on 07 model year vinyl still. I assume it is happening from peeps standing on the seams while getting on board and exiting boat either to platform or to get out of boat. I will do what I did on my Fourwinns and have two square cushions put in the corners for people to step on when entering or exiting the boat. Doing this saved the seams on my Fourwinns for 10 of the 14 years I had boat. Year 4 the Fourwinns seams were pulling out and after two calls a replacement bench seat was sent to me and after 10 additional years it worked fine.

Well on my 07 20V when Tige replaced the skins, they gave me thicker ones and to this day I hear its holding up just fine. Its apparent that Tige knows this and from what I hear the issue has been corrected on the 09's +
My Rz2 is an 07 as well and I'm kinda stoked to have the newer skins and a new tower! Kinda feels like a new boat again.

I am a little concerned again because I am in last year of parts warranty and we have not been able to use the boat very much in its first two seasons. Mine was built as an 07 Model Year in November/December 2006 so I may or may not have an issue. All I can do is ask Tige a question and move on from there.
Since my boat is garage stored the interior will not be beat up by hot temps and sub zero in off season.
All I can do is care for them properly and use throw cushions to distribute the weight of a person boarding.

This thread and others have caused some concern but I am going to enjoy and not get worked up. I may be selling boat in August. I just don't know yet what is going to happen with my income.

                                Thanks for your response.
