I think that is the most stupid looking thing I've ever seen on a Tige!!
....but I still want one. There are a lot of times I'm pissed that I have to go home while my boat buddies crawl into their cuddies to spend the night on the water. I want to spend the night on the water. That set up, while ugly, would be perfect for an overnight. I don't have $2500 disposable or I would seriously consider one.Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

If we intended it for an on-the-water overnighter tent, we'd made changes, like support post, use a much lighter material and stop at the helm. Sunbrella is heavey and expensive, but very durable with good breathing properties.
It's simply to keep the boat totally clean and allow it to dry between weekends. Plus to be able to go inside the evening before and prep up without getting eaten away by mosquitos. Nothing more than an ultimate weather cover. Florida sun is hell on boats. Oak debris get into the smallest gaps.
These type of covers are common down here in Florida. $2500 is cheap considering the cost of replacing seat covers plus the time we have to invest every week just to keep clean.
Garage is better, this is second best.
