Hello. I am new to this forum and am in the market to buy a 22Ve. I have not owned a Tige since 2000 so I am really rusty being current. I have found a couple of boats I am interested in but in this market it is hard to know what a good price to pay is. Any advice is welcomed and any input as to where to look would be helpful as well. I have looked on boattrader.com, iboats.com and inboardboats.com. I am looking for recent model year with low hours. I have found an 08 dealer repo with 18 hours on it for $39,900 and an 08 with 225 hours with all the options for $46,800. The latter seems really high and the repo is foreign to me and not sure how much risk I am taking. I obviously want a good boat with the lowest price possible. Thank you in advance.

on the 08 dealer repo w 18 hrs...is tht sold by Tige dealer with full factory warranty? U also need ot give some idea of boat equipment, options etc casue that has big impact on price. The 08 w 225 hrs seems high to me but have not done any comparison in the used boat guides. Do u want to buy locally or buy long distance? within a few hrs?

I just called the dealer with the Tige boat w 18 hours... not a Tige dealer and will get back to me on options/whether warranty is valid or not. I am open to buy anywhere w/in US (for right price of course). Close to home is always nice and more convenient. I live in Atlanta... the dealer here is still listed with Tige as the dealer but are only performing service work and are not taking in new inventory so I would think this relationship will be ending.

Here's a 22ve a little north of you, a loaded '08 for $39,000. It says by broker & there's no way to tell if it's legit or not. I bought my 2001 Tige through a broker on Lake Lanier, GA and was still able to negotiate price with the seller. Good Luck!

The factory ballast system is 900 lbs and it works great. For surfing, you would more then likely want to add some ballast, as with any towboat. For boarding, it's really about personal preference as to how much wake one needs/wantsMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Just received an update on the repo boat... it was bought by a non Tige dealer in Florida from the bank from a dealer in NC that was being liquidated. The boat was never titled so they are saying it would be under the 3 year warranty from Tige once the boat is titled. Does this sound correct? Also, since the dealer in GA is no longer a Tige dealer then what would I do with any warranty work? Drive to the closest dealer?

Here the upgrades on the repo boat:
Tige speed set cruise control
E Series anodised wakeboard tower
Bimini top with extension
Billet mirror bracket
Black / sst rubrail
3" heater vent
Custom fiberglass swim platform
Power premium sound package
Transom display remote
Ipod interface
EIDB system
Mooring cover 22Ve JT
Would you think that $39,900 is a good price?
