Thanks guys. To answer the big question. We have been working with her to learn to hold her breath. As soon as she know how to do that we will have her on the surf boards with us. It may not be this year but for sure next year. I will certainly let her use the board to float on and move around the water though when we are changing riders or on shore. This way she can get used to standing on the board and such. I know I will put this board to work as fast as possible.

Just got a chance to see those pics, very cool. Just let her play on it in the water, and lay her on it and push her back and forth. She will love that, and don't worry, watching you guys, she will want to surf on her own. When she starts to try to stand on it while playing, take a couple of stickers, or a bright marker and make 2 circles filled in on the black so she can see them, and tell her to put her feet on the circles. That really helped Jessica.

And don't forget to send pictures of her playing on the water with it!

In collage I took a class to become a certified red cross swim instructor. All babies/kids will naturally hold their breath when they are dunked underwater. The real deal is getting her comfortable in the water not to get sacred after it happens.
