20V or 22V??

That depends on your garage. My garage is 26' deep and it fits great. Even a 20' wont feet in a standard garage of 21' x 20'. unless you angle it in.

I mean't a standard garage. I am currently putting an addition (add 10ft so i will have a 33' x 24') on my garage. I can't wait until they are done because all my toys (2 stand up Jet ski's, 2 Waverunners, 22v) are under a huge tarp beside the house.

Well said CHP. The one option you can not add to the 20v is 2 more feet. Go with the 22v. You wont be disappointed.

But the question I have is with the activity center taking up a portion of the aft what would be centerline to the begining of the activity center on the 22VE models? I dont think 22V models had that feature but it had a 102" beam vs the 20V 96".

I love my 20V and some of the even with some quirks like no drink holder by the driver and no walk thru transom but after having her and getting setup the way I wanted I like this little 20V and its holeshotm handling in tight turns and how the 20V handles rough water.

My garage is just over 21'x 18' and it fits nicely in 21' with the tonque folded. My problem was the upper sill plat was a skosh less than 8' and with the tower down I still would not clear until the trailer was modified to have my 20V to sit low on the trailer. I got that surprise before we picked her up because we had to be sure it fit or we would be fined by our association. from the TAPS plate to the bows longest point is just over 20'7". Trailmaster customized it for a few hundred dollars. Before backing into garage I still have to get the tower to its lowest point because of the tight clearance.

All that being said if I had a deeper garage I would go with the 22VE.

The main cabin seating area is about the same size, and the bow is actually a bit larger on the Ve. The difference is that the rear storage on the Ve is a little smaller then the V, this allows for the main area to be about the same and the windshield to be set back to enlarge the bow area. The notched transom of the Ve allows for the seating and storage without sacrificing in storage or seating space.

the 20v is a great boat, but like many have said it will fill up fast. I love the wake on the 20v.I owm a 03 22v and love it as well the extra room is great. In 03 you had engine options. IMPO I like the marine power eng.over the mercruiser. Like others have mentioned look at the interior close, it was a weakness in thses years. I will try and find some pics of what to look for.
Look at the seams real close. Mine were bad when I bought my boat I knew it would need a new interior. New Interior is not cheap so make sure its good or factor replacing it into the price. My whole interior is in the process of being redone.

i have an arranged day out this weekend in the 22V and now have some high hopes.
i am located in Austraila, so you can only imagine how many 22s come up for sale and have been hunting this one for awhile now.

its black gel coat 03 model with 5.7L MPI Mercruiser engine with Perfect Pass, 4 tower speakers with intergrated lights, 6 in boat speakers with tweeters, sub woofer and 3 amps. Tinted windows, board racks, dual batteries, teak swim plateform, bimini and a cockpit table. Easytow Delux paint over gal trailer, mag wheels, guide poles and electric brakes

have looked at afew 20v's now and just arnt living up to my expectations =[

Hope all goes well for you. I love my 20v but there are occasions when it gets cramped. We are usually out with a houseboat so that makes it better.
