Heres my formula....for people that cant take the cold ( like me ) but also cant give up waterskiing:
Water temp 75 and up - Shorts
Water temp 70-74 - Spring Suit
Water temp 60-69 - Full Suit
Water temp 50 - 59 Dry Suit
The water rarely gets below 50 on my lake so thats it.
I have a full billabong wet suit and ride in 40 degree water. Its weird the first time, you think its going to be freezing but you get in and not notice it at all. Makes for an awsome ride, no one else is on the lake and your nice and warm
