We were supposed to go skiing, but we changed our mind and went to the boat show.

I hung around in the booth for about 25 minutes waiting around sales people to finish their current conversation, but I couldn't get anybody to talk with me. I guess that it was a good sign that there booth was busy.

I had a friend with me, he ended buying a new Malibu. He got a good deal on a Malibu 23 LSV from Taylor Boats.

I liked the camera on the Mastercraft that swivels with the rider-- pretty cool.

I thought the houseboats this year were kind of cheap looking - maybe trying to adjust to the economy?

I know! We have been going every Saturday, and the big storm was a little overwhelming for my 5 and 7 year old. My oldest son had to rub it in by saying it was the best powder day of the year

I use to ski 100 + days a year when I worked at Snowbird but now I only make 2 or 3 days a week instead of 6 or 7. After 25 yrs of working at ski resorts it was time to move on. Well really it was time to make some money.

Weren't you a lift operator at Sundance when I was teaching lessons there? 2 or 3 times a week is amazing enough, I feel good if I get one a week in.

Hopefully the lake lake will thaw in a few more weeks. We always try to go skiing in the morning than hit the lake for h20 in the afternoon atleast once a year, both in the same day.

                Want to join us. ???

@ chpthrl - We used to do it with two forklifts as well, but the crane was right there and that was the slickest setup we've ever had!! We told our brother in law to crawl under the boat, I wasn't about to get under there Just for fun, I think that just one of those straps is rated to lift 6000 lbs and the sling(cradle the boat in the strap) weight capacity is way more than that.
