    Utah Boat Show

I had a boys day out with my 3 sons and of course the boat show was one of their first choices.

I loved the new 2010 boat, the upholstery is 100% better the my Rz2 2007.

The new Dash is awesome. Very low for visibility and very functional with the new touch screen computer system.

Loved the ballast, specially coming out of the side on the back compartment.

The Tower is the best on the market, it took me literally 30 seconds to put it down by myself. Another 30 seconds to put it up again.

New swim platform is much smaller and better quality.

The area for the trash was a good design change.

I had the pleasure to meet and be instructed on the new 2010 upgrades by Ben Pigeon. I was so entertained that I even lost track of of my kids, the police had to call me to go pick him up at security.

The only downside I saw was the price. $79,000 for a new RZ2 loaded. When you compare to $80,000 for a Mastercraft X35, I was a little disappointed.

Sorry for the quality of the pictures, I only had my iPhone with me.

By the way, the new Tige dealer (Fred's Marine) team was excellent.

        They had a 2009 RZ2 with 150 hours (demo boat) for $62,000 and a RZ4 for $69,000. The RZ's 2010 were all over $72,000.

Raleigh show in NC had a Fully Loaded RZ2 on a custom trailer for $67,000.

Pretty base Z1 with the 275 HP for $46-47,000 I think.

@ eks, thanks for spending some time at the show with us, we all wondered where you went all of the sudden. We appreciate the feedback on pricing as well, the show was our first with Tige, and we learned a lot.
We put a lot of time and effort and feel it was a successful show. It has been a great 8 months getting to know the Tige company and owners and we feel like we've made a good decision and are excited about the future with Tige.
It was great to have Ben at the show as well, he represents the company well, and deserves the credit for the white, mushroom and black boat. We had comments on that boat all day long every day of the show, even though we didn't put a black split deck on it.

We've been doing some fun stuff on our Facebook page, if anyone wants to check out what we did for setup, we have some pictures up showing the cranes and what it looks like getting ready for a big show like that. Just do a search for Fred's Marine in Facebook.

It was a pleasure meeting you guys. I think your dealership had a great show. I kept finding myself going back to the Fred's Marine display to look over and over again at the new Tiges. I wish I could afford the new RZ2, I loved everything about the white and mushroom. I did walk and check every single other boat out there and that one was my favorite, but I am a little biased since I have owned 2 Tiges.

I hope to see you soon, when I bring my RZ2 for any future service.

Good Job Ed. I was also impressed with the guys from Fred's. Brian the sales mgr was great guy to talk to. And I love the new interior in the RZ's. I wish I could get out of my 22v and into the new Rz. I love the rider/skier profiles in the new touch screens. It will interesting to see how well the hold up in the marine environment. Great pics by the way.

Also we need to do lunch again with Moki and OWN.

More than that, we should plan a Lake Powell trip this summer!

Someone needs to tell that guy getting under the boat that the crane is holding that the boat weighs like 3700 pounds. I wouldnt trust that a strap wouldnt break or the crane guy wouldnt bump a lever. Get a hockey stick or something to use to setup the struts for the boat to sit on...dont climb under it!
