By having a sub under the drivers dash is it really loud? Im thinking about putting on there but i dont want to be blown away, atleast not all the time. So whats the verdict to loud or just right? Im thinking about putting a kicker comp 10" or an apline type R 10" there.

I agree with Ddutcher. This is my second sub under the dash and I would prefer it there to any other alternative. I have a JL 12W6 there now that I used to replace a Boss marine 10 inch sub. Even with the 12 I don't feel 'blown away'. Bass acoustics are such that the orientation and location of the speaker is less important than with the other speakers. I like it there because it looks cool, seems to be a ready made box, and it is out of the way. Anywhere else you put it will require a sub box or a lot of effort to get it there.
I put a chrome cover on it and get lots of complements.Attached FilesBe excellent to one another.

Jpretti,
How'd you fit two 12" subs under there? You can see from my pic it's already pretty crowded. I also have a heater mounted just on the other side of the sub so I couldn't mount the sub any higher above the floor.Be excellent to one another.

We were at Stateamind a couple of weeks ago and one of my sons wanted to take your boat with us. He really liked the black, shiny gel coat.
When we saw it, they still hadn't hooked up the tower speakers. I bet it'll be awesome.
However - I personally don't think I could handle 2 - 12" subs. My head hurts just thinking about it
