    Tweeter Holes

I just replaced the my Clarion component speakers with kicker component speakers (km620.2). The problem is the tweeters on the kickers are smaller and fall back in the current hole. I was wondering if there is a plastic washer that will work to make up a 1/4". I have thought of filling the hole and redrilling, but looking for a easier way. Help

I actually removed the tweeter pods, because my new ones wouldn't fit. I found some 1/4" plastic and used a hole saw to cut new ones. And screwed them into the fiberglass. It worked out pretty good.

            KKO,

Do you guys deal with Lewis Marine? I buy from them here on the coast and I think they have a warehouse in Largo. They have some pucks that look like they may fit.

Anyone willing to give me one of there old Clarion LEDs to test for fitment?

Bought an 1 3/4" holesaw and a 2 1/2" Hole. Found some black 1/8" UV plastic. Drilled 2.5" hole saw three quarters of the way through and drilled the 1.75" out. Then went back and drilled on the 2.5" and it came out clean. I had 6 tweeters so I had to make 12 (one for the front and one for the back). I also sealed each layer with 100% silicone. It looks awesome with gray tweeters, but most important it sounds great. I had it in my garage dailing it in and heard a knock on the garage and it was the North Augusta Police. They had complaints from my nieghbors, saying it was shaking there houses. The funny thing is I live on a four acre lot and can't throw a ball to the nearest nieghbor. Kickers kick A$$!! Now to install my tower speakers.
