I don't appreciate being called dumb.

The adjective prefaced the word 'comments' and thus it is clear that the adjective in question was in reference to the comments, not the commenter.

In all seriousness, I appreciate the input you have on the board and do not think you are dumb. You have shared valuable information. Please forgive if you felt it was a personal attack.

Well they always say in Texas when they do something they do it in a BIG WAY.
It is sad to see a boat ruined and everything that goes with it. I think I would be down on my knees thanking someone for the safe arrival through all of that. Just glad no one was hurt.

I don't use them dumb *** things to keep the boat on the trailer, I use them dumb *** things to keep the trailer under the boat! They are strong enough to do that (some of the time). I want to be able to say I did what I could to be safe!

I have seen 26' fishing boats bouncing off of the trailer going down the highway w/o straps. That can't be good for the hull. I have been using straps for 20+ years and will always use them.

read the owners thoughts on this link, this website is from my neck of the woods here in Houston. The boat and truck were a total loss.
