throttle handle ??

what is a good aftermarket handle and cable to replace factory tige handle. My local dealer wants $975.00 plus $75.00 per labor hr to replace.

Its not worth it because you will need the Taps button.

Can't you buy the standard (no taps switch) handle from West Marine or somewhere, and just used the linkage on the back half?

My throttle (2003, 22V) could be pushed into gear without pulling up on the handle. Very dangerous. The dealer fixed it buy installing a replacement shaft collar that had a 'notch broken off'. Maybe $80, L & M.

your not leaving my dealership for under a bunch of money it doesent matter what for.Example my taps quit working i tried everything to fix it turned out the fuse button was stuck so when i pushed it in it was not reseting. took to dealer thay pushed it in with a screwdriver it was fixed in 15 seconds in the parkinglot bill $85.00 thay suck.

That's why you AVOID THE DEALER AT ALL COSTS! They pretty much all suck! IMHO

If you truely need a new throttle control it should only be about 315.00 plus shipping, for your year , I have rarely seen controls that cant be fixed.
We have even fixed the drive by wire controls, with no problems.

I jus replaced my throttle assembly. It's a fly by wire. But the handle was working jus fine. Not sure if their the same set up though. I still got my old one sitting in the garage.
