Anyone know where I can take my boat for some repairs? The GA dealer is no longer a dealer (Gainesville marina) and I'm extremely dissatisfied with their service so looking for somewhere to take my 2007 22Ve. Need new steering cable and complete hull gel coat redone as it's 100% blistered and Tige don't want to do anything about it.

You can put your zip code on the top right hand corner of Tige.com and they will provide you an address.

dealer
I'm sure you can find several service dealers in the ATL area, they don't have to be Tige authorized to get parts. We sell Tige parts to other dealers around the southeast if they can't get them from the factory.I'm sure there is a good fiberglass shop in the area with all the dealers in Buford by Lake Lanier.

Regardless, It would be worth posting pictures of this. If you have a 2 year old boat, with a gel coat that bad and the manufacturer refuses to fix.......I think that would be something alot of people would like to see before they sink their hard earned $$$$ into a new $65K - $105K Tige.

Talk to SPBfan if you decide you want to do the cable yourself, he can get you a cable for your boat.
Best of luck regardless.Originally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

Thanks everyone, I'm at lake Hartwell on the border of GA and SC so Greenwoods may work.
Next time I am there I will post some pictures; I agree, I never thought I would face thousands of $$$'s to repair a 2 year old boat which is why I bought new in the first place. I can't tell you all how disappointed I am with the whole thing. in fact I e-mailed Charlie Piegeon, Harvey and the Sales Manager at Gainesville Marina and not one of them even responded.
I for one would NEVER purchase another Tige and would recommend anyone to look at other brands first.

I guess no one is perfect all the time. I for one am really surprised that no one has replied. Tige has been nothing but exceptional to me and I would say 99% other members on this forum. They even sent a boat and pro out early to CA so I could ride around with them after I was released from the hospital from my accident.
Hope things get worked out.Originally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

Harvey had previously informed me that the gel coat fault is not the responsibility of Tige and not covered under warranty and that I should not leave my boat in the water. My mistake for believing the dealer, Gainesville Marina, that it would be fine to do so.
I've owned another boat and jetski's which were fine left in water but I guess those manufacturers use higher quality materials and manufacturing process'.
When I was not satisfied with Harvey's response, I decided to contact the owner but, alas, he has proved me right that they really are not a world class company and he couldn't even be bothered to defend his company or at least try and offer me some guidance on a solution!!!!
