As I recall, all you give them is your email address...I don't think they take any personal info...could be wrong though

My question would be that the software is available while under a warranty. Does this software warranty continue after the normal warranty expires? Is it a totally different warranty than the boat warranty or is covered under the same idea as the hull warranty as when you sell the boat, the warranty expires?

Just becuase Rich said "warranty" there is more to it than that I am sure.

I was wondering about that as well. Car manufacturers make you pay for updates to the navigation systems...that might be what Tige ends up doing. Good question to ask...
