Re: 09's - On ours, the top board's bindings will hit the bimini extension. I don't recall ever having a problem hitting the Pro-60's. (But maybe that's because we always have our bimini up and haven't swung them in far enough to contact.)

Yes i ran into the same problem as you with the bimini up, so has anybody seen a boat with the pro 80's instead of 60's?

While I agree the Malibu tower doesnt look as good as it did....there is a positive aspect ( at least for foilers ). With a standard metal bar as part of the tower...you can easily bolt on hydrofoil racks. The all composite towers look great...but you seem to be stuck with the standard wakeboard racks that come with it. At least I dont know of anyone making foil racks for Tige or malibu composite towers.

Has anyone filled the 2010 Pro Ballast yet? We assume in the rear that the under floor tanks will fill first, and then sacs. Hopefully that means for riders who only want tank weight, the sac's won't need to be un-folded.

That is true, the tanks will fill first, then the bags.

Yes. The basic difference between the base level ballast and the surf or pro upgrade, is that the in-floor tank's vent is rerouted from the thru-hill to the fill port on the added sac. So when the tank is full, it begins to overflow through the vent, filling the sac instead of dumping over board.

The one caveat is that you cannot tell the system to only fill the tanks and not overflow into the sacs. The hard tanks are 250lbs and the sacs are 350lbs. The ballast system measures in 25% increments. Assuming it is calibrated (based on time), if you fill to 50%, it will overflow the hard tank and put a small amount in the sacs. Alternatively, you could just monitor the sacs and stop the fill as soon as it starts to overflow in the sacs.
