    2010 swim platform pad

I want to replace my swim platform pad this year, Has anyone looked into wheather the 2010 Ve platforms pads would fit the older models yet.

If not who at Tige could answer this question????

Tige is using the SeaDek product for the pad on the swim platforms. I would give them a call as they are not showing the specific pads for the 22Ve platform, but you can view the specific Tige products on the SeaDek website at: http://www.seadekstore.com/tige.aspx

Not sure if the Ve's are the same situation, but the RZ's used to have a two-piece platform pad with a raised section of the platform fiberglass between them. The new SeaDek pad on the 2010's is a single pad, so they have gotten rid of the raised area down the middle.

Search for SeaDek on this forum. I seem to remember that one person retrofitted his platform to fit a SeaDek pad, which involved filling in the two depressed areas to make a uniform height across the full platform.

Edit - here is the thread: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...ghlight=seadek

I just ordered a pad for my 2009 RZ2 from SeaDek. They sent me a template of what they have for dimensions for my boat's swim platform. They checked out fine and then I placed the order. If it hadn't fit, they would have had me make a template for them. They were easy to deal with. Contact them, they'll work with you.

Guapo- Are the '09's split with two sides? If so is Seadek making it all one? How much?
I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

The 09 is split in two. They are making it in two pieces...just like the factory pads but with SeaDek material.

I love it on my 2010. HUGE upgrade. After all, no one likes the Tige e' imprinted on their knees.

The other reason to switch is that the black factory pad "bleeds" a bit. My vinyl is white and stepping from the pad to the vinyl leaves behind some black on the vinyl. Everytime someone steps from the pad to the boat, I'm there with towel in hand to wipe it up. My understanding is that the SeaDek doesn't do this...that's why I ordered it!

Ours is a two pieces but I would like to make it into one, without the raised fiberglass in the center.

You need to take a nylon brush periodically to those "e"s or that exact issue will arise. It's from the sun hitting the "e"s.
