Why can't Tige get good representation in Minnesota??

I have been a Tige' RZ2 owner for three years now. My family and I are having the most fun we have ever had on our boat. I was needing a part for our boat this spring and got turned to Tony the Tige' rep because there was no dealer representation in the metro area to get parts or service. Long story short..... We didn't just take this line on just because it was available. It is because we love our boat and really liked the entire family owned Tige' operation. I am an enthusiast that uses the product we sell. We don't sell pontoons or other boats, and we are not a huge marine dealer. We will be doing everything we can to be the best Tige' dealer possible, and the one that sticks around for a long time!

Congratulation you have made a wise choice we have been a Tige dealer since 2004 and it was the best decision , they have the best people to work with and strive to turn out the best boat.

I was hoping to make it to the boat show in MN again this year however with stuff going on I can't make it! Congrats on taking up Tige I was at the show last year and got a chance to meet with Tony and another dealer I believe that was there. Congrats I might be able to take a trip up and check out the place and see some of the boats you are getting in/have I'd like to see a few in person sometime and compare them to my 2012 Rz2.

Have fun in Denver, we have a decent show. It was a LOT bigger years ago but with the economy the way it is, it has downsized. At least Tige is VERY well represented at the show!

2x Spbfan. My impression is the Pigeon Family (Tige owners) are both very smart biz folks and good (or great in my view) boat builders. They have been doing it for very long time and have an approach that works so while they tune and tweak that approach I'd expect like any biz man in this climate of Obamanomics to run things carefully while driving hard on product innovation and quality which clearly seems to be the case. They have been thru at least 2 recessions and one other slow-down which is very admirable but it helps alot to be private owned biz and run things the way they know works. Knelems is right about the financial aspects. Inboard boats as a category are very competitive with at least 6 top tier companies and another 4-6 2nd tier outfits in the same space which makes it brutal. We are in Atlanta with no dealer and I think there are some markets where its tougher than others for various reasons. I really like our boat, we have alot of fun and we are big fans of Tige.
