Why can't Tige get good representation in Minnesota??

So I have lived in Minneapolis for almost 5 years and I have seen one dealer come and go--- not a very good dealer mind you-- and now again this year, no representation at the boat show..

There are 10,000 lakes in the state and a very active boarding community in the cities, and no Tige. In fact the nearest one is in Missouri I think?!? Mastercraft and Malibu are VERY well represented- What's it take to get Tige in here for real??

I know Wayzata Marine is the rep now, but they're one of the dealers that pulled out of the boat show this year. They did have a Tige' at the show last year. But there was no tige banner or any other info around. Just a boat. As I recall that boat is still on their website as available.

I've gone to the Mpls boat show 15 years straight, I'm pretty sure I'm going to skip the show since a dozen dealers pulled out this year. And my wife said, if there's not going to be a Tige' there, why go? My son wants to see the Mastercrafts.
The luck is gone, the brain is shot, but the liquor we still got.

Dude- Wayzata lost the line- they have a couple boats, but they don't support them anymore. They are a terrible dealer anyway. When the RZ's came out- they were trying to sell a moderately loaded RZ2 for over 70k at the show 2 years ago- I almost choked- plus, I sat there for like 45 minutes educating THEM on the Tige line- it was scary- I was almost ready to tell them - let me be your rep- they didn't know anything about the company, history, construction, etc...

Not 2 years ago... I was seeing MANY loaded RZ2 in the 60's- and when I said 70K- it was more like 76K- regardless, they weren't selling any boats.

              ah i see will.

I don't remember two years ago, just know last year's prices (which I would have thought lower due to economy....)

no worries- i'd just like to see a reputable , reliable dealer in the Twin Cities.

Bristow's in St. Cloud was a dealer up until last winter. Now I think the closest dealer is in Pelican Rapids...

Okoboji,IA would be closest. Which is very sad considering boji is the only dealer in Iowa and MN has none.

IMO, the dealer from wyzeta (spelling), with my limited interaction with them, was horrible.

Think about the Chicago Area. There is Reeds in Southern Wisconsin(Delavan) and 2 up by Greenbay but NADA in the Fox River area where Malibu, MasterCraft, Supra, Moomba have dealers. I am fortunate with Reeds being an hour away and Bell Marine in Northern Indianna a few minutes from my dad's place off of Lake Syracuse. I get to play there for the weekend and drop off on Sunday and have the service work done during the week etc.

Tige's had more dealers in the state than I can remember, from the guys in Prior Lake to the guys in Anoka, St. Cloud, Wayzata, etc. I would say they have sucessfully had less and less presence in the state, when I used to ride the INT they typically had a boat in the water for every contest.

What Tige' needs is a small dedicated dealer, one that specializes in SERVICE and sales, people want to know that their boat will be cared for for as long as they own it. Having them in the water for the Dare To Compare Demo would help too.

That being said there are more than a couple Tige's around the area, and most of the local dealers are more than willing to help out owners where possible.

                              Hey Guys,

You are right, that MN market has been tuff for Tige. If you guys in MN have any suggestions on dealers in your area give me a call.
