    Fricken Lady Bugs

Well since I went to check on my boat in storage I noticed that I got some lady bugs inside the boat and under the cover. It seems that they left some rust color specs on my white seats!?!? I have tried Boat Babe's products and not got anything off, along with 3M's product for seat cleaning. Should I give the magic eraser a try? I know it is hard on the seats but so are the little specs that are on the seats. Anybody have a cure for this?

sure the specks arent spider poop? when you used the babe's seat soap did you use a soft fingernail brush? that seemed to do the trick for mine.

Usually the sun will help fade it.

the magic erasers should do the trick. also try this product called AWESOME! it works well and you get it at the dollar store. if all else fails try a rag with a small bit of lacquer thinner. and then use a conditioner directly after you use lt

If possible stay away from the Magic Erasers, they magically erase the protective layer off of the vinyl. I know, I did it. Wait till the sun gets a chance to naturally bleach it. I got impatient and my vinyl paid the price.

I think as long as you use a conditioner with a protectant, it should be fine. as it will ad a protective layer.

yeah I was going to put in my post that I knew the magic eraser is very abrasive to the seats but I read that it is fine in moderation and as long as you put conditioner on right after its use and did not scrub too hard. I guess I may just have to freaking live with it... man that sucks any body have anything that is like bleach but doesn't tear up the seats? Cause these specs are on my white seats

I used a medium stiffness brush and did not want to run so much that I went thru or tore something and it got it to lighten up maybe a hair but not much

it could be spyder poop i guess

I used magic erasers on everything On my boat and then used a 3m protectant after every use of the boat and I didn't have any spots on mine.

My seats are the ones with bad seams(2004)so I used soft scrub without bleach on some mold worked great (I'm still getting new seats). No problems but it didn’t fix my seams (they still fell apart).
