Get some stuff called PB Blaster Penetrating Catalyst http://www.pbblaster.com/products.html and that will help loosen things up and then try the other ideas posted.

tn.jpg this bolt is in the passenger side rightabove the window below the removable crank handle i think it needs to come out to lower tower. if i leave it stuck will i have any issues running new speaker wire through there?

You should not as that is just a bolt that is there as a pivot/hinge pin. If the tower didnt fold down, it could be just frozen up. In that case, shoot it with some PB blaster and let it set.

There are only for handles/bolts to remove on that "E" series tower to lower it: one holding each billet up-right to the upper bar of the tower and 2 holding the 2 folding halves, just above the windshield. Let me look, i've got some pics somewhere that may help.

i think these need to come out because the one side is loose i sure hope im doing it wrong because this sucks

Ok, here is a pic of that tower joint folded down. You can see the pin in the side of the tube that you are trying to remove and you can see where the handle/bold goes that holds the upper portion of the joint to the lower. If the tower doesnt pivot on that pin, it's frozen, so shoot with some penetrating oil.
