I was out in the boat putting the air release valve in my Fat sac. Big thanks to CHPthrl for getting that to me. I always end up not watching the pump and the bag gets big when filling manually. Then I loosen the valve to release the air and pressure and always lose a few gallons as well alll over the floor. This looks like a great solution to prevent that for sure.
Anyway, I hop down from the tongue of the boat and my left foot landed on the trailer light connection. I immediately heard a loud snap and felt pain. I hopped into the house on one foot, hoping that I broke the 7 pin connector. Then I laid on my back on the couch with some ice on my foot. A brief exam revealed that icky crunching feeling you sometimes feel when you have a broken bone in there.
Looks like I am out for at least 6 weeks. I guess it looks like my last time out was Thanksgiving and it will stay that way for a while yet. Time to get a full winterization done and call it good for a while. Also ruins my dirt biking for the winter, but at least it did not happen during the summer!
