However, we need to catch a ride to and from the camping site if someone is willing to help us out. If we can drive there, we just need to catch a ride on someone's boat. I have gas money

6 hours of driving from the Sacramento area. I don't want to take the boat on a haul like that at this time.

If someone wants to post the phone number of the camp site reservation area, that would be great.

The nice thing about Lake San Antonio is that it is first come first serve. Of course the "dream spots" get taken first. We usually start camping there in April, and the weather can be hit and miss. The water will still be cool. As far as availability of camping areas goes, it most likely will be wide open. It should stay wide open until the middle of May, with the exception of the Wild Flower Triathalon. During the Wild Flower there will be thousands of athletes camping at the South Shore. The North Shore will be empty. (We camped there during the last two Wild Flower
events.) We usually dry camp at the North Shore in our RV, however we have camped at the South Shore twice in the Redondo Loop with "hook-ups". I prefer North Shore camping so I don't have to pull the boat out at night. (It's a hassle with the RV) If you decide to camp at the North Shore, just bring shade. Everything else you would need is there. Access to showers, store, outhouse, and restrooms. I will be happy to go up early to "stake-out" a beach or cove area for the group.
There is ALWAYS a place to camp at the North Shore (even on Holiday weekends), Just not next to the shore.
If anyone has any other info regarding the South Shore please post up.

I know I am not sure what is going on. We need to see what we can do for it. This is a first time so it is going to be a little hard to get the showing. We are set to come. We have put it on the calendar.

Just got finished with our taxes and it doesn't look good. I owe BIG time to IRS and CA Tax Board So, my wife and I have to cancel. Will look into the Tige Reunion at Mead this year also but that doesn't look good either.

Well reading this thread I think we should reschedule this to a new date where more people will be able to attend. If we can do this is their any better date we can all suggest for this.
