Tige Beats Mastercraft and Malibu as top 10 most Researched
Tige seems to be getting a lot of press time in Boating World and Boat test.com in the Jan 2010 issues.
Boating World had 4 pieces of info from the digital dash, the RZ4, the 24VE and Tige advertising. Malibu had some info in the January 2010 issues but Tige definitely had more exposure in both reviews and paid advertising.
BoatTest.com had numerous reviews published that looked like the full range of Models. Even the poor little 20V got some press time which is rare.
With the Boat show season starting in the next few weeks Tige has gotten attention getting info in both paper and digital press. People will be looking at the models on display especially ones with the digital dash.
Unfortunately, I don't see Tige showing boats at the big Chicago show Jan 13th to Jan 17th at McCormick place. The current vendor listing does not show that many boat manufacturers yet. McCormick place is loosing a lot of shows in various markets so I would not be surprised if Tige isn't there since Tige has no dealers in Northern,IL. The closest dealer is Reeds Marine in Delavan,WI and Bell Marine in North Webster,IN. Since the local dealers typically will show boats from their inventory the odds of seeing Tige at the Chicago show seem to be slim and none. Reeds may be showing at the Milwaukee show. I have not checked it yet.
Tige is hitting the press hard in 2010 which hopefully will help sell more boats.
It does not look like Tige and Reeds Marine will be attending either the Chicago Boat Show or the Milwaukee show. Not enough activity to justify the expense especialy the Chicago Show at McCormick place.
My wife and I are thinking about the Chicago show once we know who is
showing what etc.
